Presentation Guidelines

Abstract acceptance notifications will be sent to registered authors by email from February 29.
Please acknowledge receipt of this letter to the secretariat (info@apnm.kr ) in order to finalize the program.

1. Basic Rules:

  • -Presenters must print and attach posters themselves.
  • -Printed Poster must be prepared in advance; on-site printing will not be possible.

2. Poster Size and Format

  • -Language: English
  • -Poster panels are 95cm in width by 237cm in height.
  • -Poster size should be  A0 (84.1cm x 118.9cm) including the title.
  • -The labels of poster codes will be on the poster panels by the organizing committee.

3. Regulations and Information

  • -All presenters are required to print their posters.
  • -Poster code will be informed to each presenter with e-mail.
  • -Posters should be legible by viewers from one meter away. The poster title, author(s)'s name(s) and affiliation(s) should appear at the top.
  • -Posters should show the main content or main results of the paper.
  • -Only adhesive tape will be available to attach your poster to the panel. Tape will be provided in the poster session area.
  • -All presenters should remove their posters at removal time. If not, posters will be removed by staff without notice and the organizing committee will not take any responsibility for any lost or damaged posters.

4. Printed Poster Set-up/ Removal

Poster display location: 1F Poster Zone (Paradise City, Incheon, Korea)

A poster panel and presentation number (Code No.) will be provided for each poster.
Set-up and Removal must be done during the assigned schedule only.
If not, it will be removed by staff without notice and the organizing committee will not take responsibility for any damages or losses.

Removal April 6 (Sat), 16:20 - April 6 (Sat), 17:40
Poster Rounding April 6 (Sat), 15:30-16:20

Guidelines for the Oral Presenters

The followings are the guidelines to prepare your oral presentation.

1. Equipment

  • -A monitor, mouse and smart pointer will be provided on the podium for speakers. No keyboard on the podium.
  • -For the convenience of the speakers, we will provide a slide note function so that you can see the script in the PPT which you prepared

2. Presentation File Submission

Please submit your presentation file at the preview room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled session to ensure the files function correctly in the given environment.
Presentation slides should be prepared as an MS PowerPoint file 2003, 2007 or 2010, 2013 versions. If you have any other types of presentation files, please inform our staff of the preview room, in advance.

3. Preview Room

  1. (1)Locations: Grandball Room Lobby (1F), Paradise City, Incheon, Korea
  2. (2)Operation Hours: April 5 (Fri.)-April 6 (Sat.), 07:30-16:30
  3. (3)If your file contains video or sound, please inform our staff and check the system in advance.
  4. (4)If you wish to present with your own laptop (IBM or Mac), you have to visit the preview room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled session.
  5. (5)If you use your own Macintosh with our beam projector, we ask to bring your Mac RGB Connector. (We don’t provide any devices for Macintosh.)

4. Important note for Macintosh Users

In order to use Mac presentation files on a IBM(PC) compatible computer, please note that you need to prepare it according to the instructions below, before bringing it to the preview room:

  1. (1)Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font on a PowerPoint based IBM).
  2. (2)Insert pictures as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT - these images will not be visible on a PowerPoint based IBM).
